Outchef’d is making a comeback on Food Network to surprise some more chefs. The second season of the well-liked show will premiere on June 15 at 9:30 PM ET. Food Network and Discovery Plus will both provide the program for viewing.
Like in the previous season, host Eddie Jackson will take the self-assured home chefs by surprise when they think they’re going to deliver an audition by presenting a challenge. The chefs will be required to prepare food that is superior to that of some of the most well-known chefs in the world, and the dinners will be evaluated by a blind-tasting panel of four regular people. The home cook only needs one vote to take home the $5,000 cash prize.

The renowned chefs must receive all four votes in order to prevail in the competition. The chefs for this season are
- Alex Guarnaschelli is the executive chef of New York’s renowned Butter restaurant.
- Antonia Lofaso: Scopa Italian Roots owner and Top Chef participant
- Darnell Ferguson: Super Chef Grudge Match Host
- Eric Adjepong: Alex Vs. America host and Top Chef season 16 finalist
- Geoffrey Zakarian is the owner of many New York restaurants and a Chopped participant.
Former player Joe Sasto played for RN74, Cotogna, and Cal Mare.The owner of KBC Catering and the restaurant is Kelsey Bernard Clark. Food Network’s description of Outchef’d is as follows:
The chance of a lifetime to compete in a one-round cookoff against the most fiercely competitive, acclaimed, and scary celebrity chefs is presented to amateur home cooks by Food Network star Eddie Jackson. The home cook only needs ONE vote from a panel of unrelated tasters to win $5,000 to level the odds.
Among the home cooks highlighted in Outchef’d are program manager Marcus, entrepreneur Trent, project manager Mike Mazza, middle school band director Jonathan, manager Ariana, and Mike Ryan. Each episode will feature one of these chefs competing against a well-known chef. Among other things, they will prepare lobster and mac and cheese. Additionally, Outchef received some unexpected guests.
Several cooking programs are hosted by Eddie Jackson
Georgian chef Eddie Jackson, 24, hails from Americus. He played football for the University of Arkansas while there. He has previously suited up for the New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, and Carolina Panthers. The Miami Dolphins’ Eddie, on the other hand, suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
After retiring in 2008, Jackson invested in a Houston food truck to indulge his lifelong passion for cooking. Since then, he has triumphed in the MasterChef competition in 2013 and the Food Network Star competition in 2015. After that, he started his own TV show, BBQ Blitz, which ran for only six episodes in 2015.
Since 2016, Eddie has served as the Kids BBQ Championship host and a frequent Clash of the Grandmas judge. The Christmas Cookie Challenge is also hosted by him. Jackson served as the head of the BBQ Brawl team as well as a judge on Halloween Wars seasons 11 and 12.
