With Raw and SmackDown in the books, plenty of rumours are doing the rounds in the world of professional wrestling - or sports entertainment if you're Vince McMahon.
In our daily column, we enlighten you on all the inside gossip. Let's get into it:
Alexa Bliss denies nudity report
A couple of weeks ago on Raw, the WWE aired a segment where a member of the backstage crew walked in on a topless Alexa Bliss in her dressing room, with her back turned to the camera of course.
Reports have circulated suggesting this was Bliss' idea, but the Goddess of WWE replied to one such report on Twitter on Tuesday saying "false" before later deleting the tweet.
John Cena injury a work?
According to Dave Meltzer, the ankle injury WWE announced that John Cena had suffered in last week's fatal-four-way main event of Raw is not a real injury.
The WWE has made this announcement to explain the absence that Cena will have in the lead up to WrestleMania as he films another movie. Lars Sullivan was originally meant to take Cena out, but it seems his panic attack has put paid to that for now.
Sin Cara set to team up with Rey Mysterio
According to PWInsider, Sin Cara has been training at the WWE Performance Center ahead of his comeback from injury.
The plan at this time of writing is to have Cara tag team with Rey Mysterio. Whether Rey's tremendous run of singles matches with Andrade will change that is unknown.
Dolph Ziggler finishing with WWE on January 31?
Mike Johnson of PWInsider has given an update on Dolph Ziggler's situation with the WWE. He says Ziggler has been working house shows and will continue to do so, but he wasn't booked for Raw this week and didn't even travel with the crew.
It looks like the WWE aren't putting him in any storylines prior to his departure, but Johnson did note that it's possible Ziggler will get a final goodbye at the Royal Rumble in Phoenix, which is also where he lives.
Former WWE star shoots down a Royal Rumble return
Carlito is a former U.S., Intercontinental and Tag Team champion in the WWE and many fans would love to see Carribean Cool return, even in a one-off way like the Royal Rumble.
However, the 39-year-old shot the idea down on Twitter insisting that he's not even on the company's alumni page, so a comeback of any kind is pretty unlikely.
For those of you that still ask every year if I’m going to be in the Royal Rumble. I’ll put it to you like this. https://t.co/fyH5ocjoCf still won’t put me on their alumni page. I hope this clears things up for you😂😂
